The HDR optimizer on the new UHD player from Panasonic is an absolute must own if you have a projector or any HDR display that isn't capable of hitting the highlights in HDR content. Most TV's aren't, so this player tone maps everything down to your tv's capabilities without dimming the rest of the image. Its also insanely useful for SDR BT2020 conversion for those that have 4k tv's without HDR. This way you get the wider color gamut and take out the HDR alone.
