If you didn't catch the Superbowl trailer, The Cloverfield Paradox is scheduled to be released on Netflix -- after the Superbowl tonight.
Originally was supposed to be called God Particle as part of the Cloverfield Anthology. It would seem the movie will explain the reasons for the past Cloverfield movies.
Cloverfield first debuted in 2008. The story was about a giant monster that terrorizes New York City. The sequel, 10 Cloverfield Lane (released in 2016) focused on a alien invasion. This third movie will most likely explain why these events occurred in the first place and how they are related.
