Started this supernatural drama series late last night and completed it later this evening. It centers around a teenage girl who spent most of her life catered for in an orphanage, after she was rendered quadriplegic following a ghastly motor accident that also claimed the life of her mother.
The start of the film reveals her lying in a morgue, very dead, but was resurrected after an angelic halo that was hidden in her corpse during an attack on a group of demon-hunting nuns after a mission gone rogue, mysteriously re-awakens her.
On waking, she chooses to seize this second chance she was given at life, to fully explore the world and see it all. However, life had other plans for her as she discovers she can now see supernatural creatures and has to lead these nuns into restoring order as the halo was a symbolic possession of the leader of the warrior nuns.
Will she follow her desires or choose to make some sacrifices and save humanity amidst some betrayals and shocking revelations??

Thumbs up; the main characters were quite engaging.
Thumbs down; you could somewhat predict the story line and I felt the story was kinda overstretched in this first season with some unnecessary scenes.
Looking forward to the second season though.
An overall great movie guys, you should see it...

I liked that main character the most. She's quirky and fun. Like me! 😅
Also agree with you about it being stretched, specially in the middle. All that to give us a massive cliffhanger. No chill!

Exactly, at some point I kept dozing off and had to put it off to continue the next day...I really thought some scenes were not needed.
And that ending right?! Freaking annoying🙄
They could at least solve that crisis in the end within the first season and foreshadow future events to come. 🤷♀
