Gavrilo Princip is given the mission, which is to kill Archduke Ferdinand, a mission that he fulfills satisfactorily and starts the imminent War.

Many times the movies show us that wars have a purpose, that giving your life for your nation is an act of heroism, or they show us the cruelty of human beings, but there are movies that show us that wars can be caused by the whims of powerful people, and this is one of them, like when Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany said “If I want a war, I will have it.” Because they simply didn't like their cousins, or that all powerful people had someone from the "Pastor's" flock, who manipulated them.

Over the years we will see a Conrad about to come of age and an overprotective Duke Oxford who hardly lets his son out, trying to keep the promise he made to his wife, but Conrad wanted to explore the world and constantly expresses his desire to enlist in the United Kingdom army to have the "honor of serving his country", which his father opposes, claiming that he is just a boy who does not know how capable and cruel he is. It could be the men, to which Conrad replies: "Wasn't watching my mother die an introduction enough?"

After facing Rasputin, the Duke and his team set out on a new mission, to decipher an encrypted telegram that could put the United Kingdom in check, on the other hand, Conrad goes to the battlefront and joins a group of soldiers. to fulfill the mission of rescuing information of great importance for his nation, information that can tip the balance in favor of the United Kingdom, but what will be the cost of the success of said mission, will it be enough to end the war?

From here on, I totally recommend you watch the movie, there's still a long way to go and it was cool 😂

Opinion

To begin with, I liked the movie, I think that seeing it before seeing the other Kingsman gave me the opportunity to appreciate it better without judging it by the shadow of its predecessors, I understand that this movie was very compared to the others and they branded it as bad, but I actually found it good and entertaining; Among the good and not so good points that I found are:

It was quite entertaining, interesting and very emotional. The film has good phrases that leave you thinking, I think it is left with lessons from some of those phrases such as: "The more you fear something, the more likely it is that it will come true", "The reputation is what people think of you, character is what you are” or “Confidence is having confidence in the honesty of others”.

There were twists that I honestly did not expect, the action scenes, although quite exaggerated, were very good, the scenery really seemed quite clean to me and that the details were taken care of, everything was well recorded, such as the details of when they visited the field of concentration in africa, the details of severe malnutrition and unhealthiness, the upper class halls, the details in the clothes, and the trenches in the battlefront, the flares and the shots, the night fight was well produced; and the combination of lighting plus the soundtrack were appropriate to the situations, the gray and brown color palettes used gave the effect of cold, hopelessness and tiredness, while with a more golden lighting they gave the effect of richness and warmth.

My favorite fight was against Rasputin, he was a good dancer and very strong, "a tough guy" who had many aces up his sleeve, not to mention that they had to face him between the 4, I found it very curious that according to the story it was actually like this ( or very similar) was how Rasputin died and that the secret agency of the United Kingdom was also involved. I also really liked the character of the babysitter Polly, she is a very intelligent, determined woman, with good aim, and strong, she was a very helpful character in the story of the film.

The film freely satirically uses real events of the story for its plot, although they do it gracefully, I think that sometimes the endings are forced, or that it seems that the story simply jumps, as if the arcs of the plot they needed a more subtle union; the characters do not have much development, everything focuses more on the action, the duke and Conrad, of the other important characters with whom one can become attached such as Shoulla or Polly, or the same "Pastor" we will not be able to know more.
