The past 2 weeks I took it upon myself to put MoviePass to the test, being able to watch 1 movie per day. I've posted about 14 movies of the 17 movies I've seen in the last weeks. Yesterday, I ran into my first hiccup with MoviePass. To be honest it's mainly my mistake for checking into the wrong movie but to be very fair, this was a simple fix. I wasn't able to re-check in at a later time, due to my current reservation pending. I contacted their support through their app and they did not answer me once. All they had to do was cancel the reservation, so I could check into another movie at another time while I was there at the movie theaters. 30 minutes have gone by and still no answer from MoviePass. The second movie time already had started, so I just ended up leaving. Wasted time and money getting there. My real question is, is it worth going to the movies when I can simply download all these movies for free in the comforts of my own mancave knowing I'll never run into a hiccup?
MoviePass is great when you don't mess up but when you do (only cause we're humans), you'll feel like your on a deserted island with no support. Some say they've gotten a life line fast but there are a lot more that have drowned with no help at all. MoviePass is growing! Please step up your customer service game up!
I've also noticed iOS app is more developed than the andoid app for instance, iOS app has a button when you check in and if the movie is sold out to check back out, while the andoid app is lacking that buttom. WTF that's an important button, don't you think?
I Took the Fam to see Peter Rabbit and spent 15 min trying to get it to work and i have had movie pass for 3 years paying 34.99 but for the money there making they should not be hanging the phone up in your face.
