Thank you for the break down of the Movie! Most people don’t know about the book!
It is curious to think what role in Society's fear of clowns this movie might play. Did it play Dr. Frankenstein, or add to something that was already... alive. It is fascinating to see the amount of clown, scare, and prank enthusiasts virally tying red balloon to innocent objects. It seems people are willing to do anything for internet fame these days… or may be people are just that desperate for attention/human interaction.
It makes one ask…
This movie was intended to scare people, but was it intended to be used by others as a method to do so outside of cinema?
In today’s society, people deprive themselves of interpersonal interactions due to technological and social trends. Are people consciously, or unconsciously, seeking to compensate in unhealthy ways that could be detrimental to themselves and society as a whole.
