Animal Farm anchors its entirely point on being allegorical in nature. So not reducing it down, or at least, discussing the messaging to me would just miss the point. Whereas with Everything Everywhere All at Once, you could definitely discuss potential messaging, but the Daniels really just wanted to make a great, fun, quirky multiverse movie with themes of family dynamics, a woman in a collapsing marriage, estranged daughter etc. But the potential message? It could be even when the world looks bleak and we are feeling isolated, we can find meaning and happiness in those we love and by choosing kindness and optimism, as Waymond does, as a way to fight back. That's a potential message. But it's not one that overrides the pure entertainment value and emotional core of its character arcs
