Hey guys! Are you ready for another Rom com? I sure hope so because I have another one ready for you to enjoy. Today's blurb is about the comical movie "The Proposal".

Margaret Tete, played by Sandra Bullock, is a Canadian book editor who is based in New york. She has a strong passion for writing but is known to be a witch in her workplace. She is faced with the horrific news that she is being deported as her visa expired. She is hated by many of the employees.





However, she comes up with an alternative to solve this issue on the spot. She pretends she is engaged to her personal assistant, Andrew Paxton and will marry him in the near future. As by doing this, she will avoid the dreaded deportation. This is Margaret being forced to propose to Andrew to satisfy Andrew's needs.





Andrew plays up to this whole charade to everyone including the immigration official which could mean that he will face some prison time if they find out the truth about this marriage. Andrew being a clever, diligent worker knows that he can ad a few conditions of his own giving the extreme consequences of their actions if their plans fails. They don't know each other inside out as seen below.





He had the ambition since he was a child to be editor if a hige company and thus his condition is to be promoted to editor and for the company to print 20,000 copies of his papers which he has worked on for a long time. Margaret has no choice but to accept as if she is deported, she'll loose everything including her job and her life in New York.


Another condition that was imposed by Andrew was for Margaret to go on a weekend trip to Alaska to see his eccentric family. Unknowingly to Margaret, his family is extremely wealthy and owns an ambudance of stores in his hometown.


Margaret forgot what it felt like to be loved and wanted by a family as she lost her parents when she was a teenager. It becomes increasingly harder for her to keep up this charade to Andrew's family. She seems to fit in with the family. This is her and Andrew's granny connecting with the "spiritual" world.





Will she admit the truth and lose everything or will she continue with this charade to ensure she can keep her lavish lifestyle?
