I may finally make peace with Marvel!

Anytime my son makes me watch a superhero movie I feel like a blacksmith living in middle ages who is been taken to an inquisition session, interrogated with instruments he had made with his own hands! Despite Nolan trilogy I never get the point to watch those movies. They even ruined Natalie Portman's image in my mind after making that crap named Thor. Logan was an exception among them and I thought that would be the last. But with my son's effort I watched The Black Panther last night and I start thinking maybe I can like Marvel at last.

Despite good directing and acceptable acting and a very good score, the main advantage of its filmmakers is, like Logan, they could tie the common flat idea of "being noble and save the world" to a real dramatic conflict: "Crown Succession". Of course they always try to find such conflicts in their stories but in my opinion they have always failed but this time. The story has good characters and goes forward very good. The villain's motivations are understandable and you can follow him too. The gags are on time and enough and for the first time the appearance of Mr Stan Lee in a Marvel movie is funny. But I liked the resolution the most. Even it was so melodramatic but I really liked the idea of watching the sunset and the decision the antagonist made at the last moment.
It has a scene after the final battle. Black Panther decided to help other nations with their nation's scientific achievements. He bought a block in Oakland to change them to some facilities and brought her scientist sister to show her the area. His spaceship-ish vehicle arrives and surprises kids who are playing basketball in the neighborhood. One of them asks "Who are you?" and thanks to the writer and director, the black panther doesn't answer! That was my redemption moment. The moment that film finished without the guy introducing himself as Black Panther!
