50's short film by the master himself. It's basically a condensed version of, "My Life to Live." Lots of ideas that eventually went into, "Breathless" here. It's interesting to see the dynamic that exists between Godard's earliest movies and his new films. There's a lot of development in his style and ideas over time but there's still something so consistent. The minimalist production design is prototypical Film Socialism!
In the film a married girl discovers a call girl on the street and dares herself to throw herself at the first man she meets!
