Black Panther

black-panther.jpg

On 14 february I went to black panther it was released on 13 february in the netherlands but it was sold out so I went the day after on valentine’s day haha,
I watched it in dolby cinema 3D what was amazing.

Black panther, he is not the first black superhero with his own movie in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) like many people say, before Black Panther we had Spawn and the Blade tribology but it is the first time that a superhero movie got a black cast like this, and a good cast it is! Even the director and the scriptwriter have afro American ethnicity. The only 2 white people we saw in this movie we’re Martin Freeman who plays Everett K. Ross who did amazing in the movie btw and he fitted perfectly, and we saw Andy Serkis (Ulysses Klaue) who had a big introduction in Avengers Age of ultron.

We’ve already seen Black Panter his face in Civil War, I knew him from the comics but you never know or they destroy the character in a movie, but the didn’t! I really like Chadwick Boseman his acting as the Black Panther and the accent makes it perfect I can say he is born for the role.

Review

When I saw the first trailer the music got me already, you felt already this movie was gonna be so differently than other Marvel movies.
We know marvel uses a lot humor, I think Thor Ragnarok was only humor I really like that part of marvel not everyone does but Black Panther has some humor but a lot Action!
What is different in Black Panther is in the most marvel movies the superheroes fight to get a important item (infinity stones) or to protect someone or something no Black Panther is more about T’Challa and his life lesson.

I also think this is my first Marvel movie where you really understand the “bad guy”
In this movie it is Killmonger (played by Michael B. Jordan)
In the movie it feels we have 2 hero’s and you understand both, Killmonger says a lot thing normally a hero would say. I think he is a really strong hero he got everything a good villain needs.

Also is this a movie with a lot of politics, what can bring many discussions after the movie (in a good way)

Coogler made an amazing cast I think everyone got a good time to show their character except the mother of T’Challa, Ramonda I think she could get a much stronger role. My favorite character of the movie was Shuri (played by Letitia Wright) Shuri is the sister of T’Challa but not just a sister she is the boss of all technology in Wakanda and she is even 16 years old, Shuri is amazing and you really feel a strong brother sister connection I hope we will see her back for many times in the MCU. Maybe she will be next generation in the MCU.

Wakanda? They made it amazing, I felt some Lion King moments when you see the view and the country it shows a country with Futuristic technology but also old traditions what if we could make Africa like that? I would help for sure to build it like that.
I am very wondering what they will show of Wakanda in IW and how the other Avengers will react when they see it with their own eyes.

My last opinion is that I am very sad 2 strong characters died, they cold add a lot in the MCU and I think it is really bad they decided to kill them in the MCU.
And I hope we will see Storm in Black Panther 2!

This is my very first movie review, it is not perfect, but I’ve already wanted to learn this, I will try to do this more with movies I really liked.

Thankyouu for reading
