I really enjoyed Baby Driver. The soundtrack is great and I've been listening to it a lot on Spotify. I've got Alexis Korner's autograph somewhere, never really been in to his music but ‘Early In The Morning’ sounded great in the cinema.
A violent movie with profanity and car chases - named 'baby driver' - kind of incongruous !!
I am yet to see a movie with car chases ( that too multiple car chases) being bearable. You have really piqued my curiosity by saying that creative use of music has made car chase scenes better. Have to go see that !!!

It's worth the watch despite the car chases that makes me feel I watched it already. I might also find that Tarantino's old movie I haven't watched it yet too.
Yes it is very difficult to make a car chase seem "new". The sound is what did it for me with this one. Not everyone likes True Romance... but I love it!
Hold on @hanshotfirst. You didn't like the 1970 chevelle chase in Jack Reacher? I think it was right up there with Jason Bourne car chase. I'm excited to watch this movie. It looks like my kind of film. I just don't go and watch movies anymore, but I need to take @luvbnamome to chick flick. Steem On!
I like movies when the actor does such a good job by playing a character that makes me forget who he/she really is in real life ... like you comments... did one some weeks ago...check out if you can

I hope I didn't set your expectations too high. The story is similar to True Romance... but nothing can truly compete with that movie. One of my favorite of all times. However, that type of story combined with the unique use of sound and music should lead to an enjoyable experience.

After reading your other reviews, this was a surprise to hear. I respect someone who doesn't jump on a bandwagon and praise a movie because it has a fancy tomato score.
Giving this movie the credit of the best car chase movies you've ever seen is a tall feat compared to the choices you mentioned - Bourne Identity tops my list with a nod to Bullitt for a single chase scene.
I liked the Dr. Strange very much and I even try some visual effects by myself and uploaded here on steemit. Now I am going to watch the baby driver soon.
I saw the clip on TV and thought thats one to miss, I'll have to wait until the dvd comes out as can't go to the cinema but now after reading this ill give it a chance :)
I was watching the TV with my daughter and hubby when the ad came on, Nichola recognised him from The fault in our stars, Nick said well that's going to be a load crap lol

I was shocked! I HATE car chases. They are so boring. There was something different about these though.

Good catch. I did like the first Jack Reacher way more than I thought I would. But in general car chases bore me.
I was thinking the same thing. It was a good movie and that car chase is right up there with Jason Bourne.

LOL. Yeah my wife makes fun of me quite a bit. I seem to have two opinions. I either LOVE a movie or I HATE it. Not a lot of middle ground with me.
