We really like our BAJA : It has great acceleration , the ride is smooth ,it's easy to handle , the brakes are "super": it only cost 400 pesoes round trip to go accross to Cebu Province from Dumaguete round trip but what do You do in the rain or if You wanna go to the Car wash. Pictured here is a Template of what my idea is for a permanent cover for our Baja Of course the material will be water proof canvas with sturdy plastic hooks that will connect to the undercarriage. Here is a rought diagram to show how a combination of plastic zippers and velcro will be used for windows and door. Windows will be on both sides and only one entrance and exit door. The zippered door will be reached from each outside window to re-zip it upon exit, it will zip hafl way from each window. Now if air resistance is a problem , then I'll just have to take it off and use it on storming day's when wind resistance won't factor in. The front of the cover will come down a way's over the windshield to prevent wind from getting underneath. The cautious road test will tell it all .( Lol ) One correction to make on my diagram : the zipper will zip up from each window.
