What a great story! I'm really happy for you that you have not only stepped over that line drawn in the sand, but you erased the line entirely! Good for you!

I love WATCHING motorcycle racing, but I am too scared to actually do it myself. Anyway... I'm getting too old and soft now. I have a Kawasaki ZX6R in the garage and I hardly ride it any more because leaning over all the time is no longer so easy for me. Also, my grip is weakening and pulling in the clutch makes my wrist sore after a while if I am in traffic.

I have volunteered a few times at races doing flagging and radio person and enjoyed it very much. In Canada we have a good number of women racers, but the majority are still men.

Good luck and congratulations. Do put that footprint of yours into wet concrete (it is more permanent that way!).
