Hi Guys !! Welcome to the first of the three parts of the gold review. The gold review is basically three articles in which I will talk to you about each of the three motorcycles I had and still have. In the first part we will talk about the fastest one, Aprilia rs 125, In the text I have combined the objective review with my experiences on the bike.
For the story, the Aprilia rs 125 started in 1992 with the two-stroke engine and the main difference with future models is that it has a crank in addition to a starter. In 1996 the first renewal of the motorcycle was made, with the main difference being the revamped Rotax 122 engine. The motorcycle changed again in 1999 with major changes in engine silencing through the electric harness, carburetor and exhaust. With some minor interventions you could make the engine return its maximum power again. The biggest change was made in 2006 when the appearance of the bike changed with more aggressive appearance and a squint again in the engine. In 2012 the Aprilia rs 125 engine was changed to a powerful four-stroke engine.
In my possession I have the 2004 version with a combination of black and red. I have given almost all the power the engine had lost through Aprilia's interventions, I can say it's a very powerful engine.
A picture..
In the review we will be talking about the 2006 version, which has been renewed the appearance of the motorcycle and has not changed anything until 2012 with four-stroke engine as we said.
Well, to begin with the basic features, the Aprilia rs 125 of 2006 is a two-stroke single cylinder 125 cc engine that delivers 28 horses at 10500 rpm (if you cut the cutter to 11000 and above). It wears a 28mm carburetor of Dell'Orto and has a torque of 19 Nm at 9000 rpm, the tank holds 14 liters and full of liquid weighs 142 Kg and wears a 6-speed gearbox. The final touches 155 kilometers and can overcome them with some changes.
All the specs are in the images below.
The Aprilia rs 125 is a motorcycle racing, this is seen in its set up, it has functions like a timer for a faithful one, it can easily compete with motorcycles 125/150 cubic and 200/250 cubic in some cases. It gives a very good sport experience but does not easily forgive mistakes, this is mainly due to the two-stroke engine. He attributes his power to the high turns, about 6000-7000 starts to strengthen. It's a good motorcycle for future sports jockeys and I can not say it's for everyday use, supersports are generally not, but if you have the microbe you do not care.
Consumption is over 7L / 100Km with moderate to wild use, giving a range of less than 200 kilometers. You can easily be on national roads with 130 km without tiring the engine and without easily raising the temperature due to the water-cooled engine. It has very good handling and strong brakes without offering great comfort to the passenger.
The review has ended :) the comments on the motorbikes are mine from personal experiences. Please leave a comment with your view and with the motorbike you would like to be in the next review. Steem on !!
