Well the day started off with stripping this bike down to restore and repair it, you may note the unruly, unkempt grass in the background, well lawn mowers do break after all, and I do not want to fix it, if I do I will have a queue a mile long asking me to do more.
So I bought this instead, it makes cutting grass a lot more fun, and a lot faster, the shorter it gets, the faster you can go, and it has 7 gears!
The best part about cutting grass 10X quicker? I get to work on more bikes, yippee.
So with only £650 spent on the mower, I get a load more free time to relax working on bikes, hey I even got a tan while on the mower.
I took four out to tinker with today.
On the left a tzr 125 from 1996, on the right a 1974 rd 125.
Back right x4 125, back left Cagiva mito 125 2007. The latter I am selling to help out my single father buddy, if you have read this before, this is the second one he is having, he will be £2000 up by the time he sells this one, plenty more to go to set him free from his problems, time I have a plenty to oblige.
Yes they are all 125's yes they are all 2 stroke, but that my friends is where the silly money is at, as they are no longer made, and with the older ones - us older folk, who now have money well we hanker after our youth and the first bikes we owned, and most will pay over the top to get them.
I just collect them, greedy git is I.
If you think about it though, I am saving on any form of pollution, as I can only ride one at a time. :)

Thinking about it it was a hand tool for digging up plants, she caught up with me real easy as I was going walking speed, all good fun, we joke a lot to make each other smile.
I bought a new mower a couple months ago...I have to push mine though. It's not as cool as yours and I'm a little jealous! 😁
I spent the last 6 years being pulled by a petrol one, getting old has bonuses, I get to sit on this one. :)
Lol, well I'd be pretty happy with myself if I had that! I'd only need to do a few loops to mow the lawn though. I push mine...You know, like Conan the barbarian when he was a kid pushing that milling wheel...Made him massive.
That made me giggle, and oh them days when we all pushed a mower, society was certainly a lot healthier and fitter back then.
I may be healthy, but I'd let it all go for a seven speed lawn mower in a shot!
