A change of pace day, and afternoon off - gasp - shock.

Afternoon.

That was my morning delivery of parts plus 14 kilo of cat food, and 20 kilo of pellets for Guinea pigs.

Don't worry, the large box was full of bike parts, the one on top is new rear shocks for the rd 50.
I even had to use my towing car to get these all inside a car, so it was Mitsubishi to the rescue.

I did indulge today though in a bit of self pleasure in almost finishing the Yamaha tzr 125 sp. Yes the one of 500 ever made.

The petrol tank rubbers, well 3 of them anyway were missing, so I made 4 to fit.

The top one was the original, it now goes into my rubber box for a new use on something else.
I prefer making things fit to buying things, the rubber I used was from cushdrive rubbers from a bike I scrapped, but scrap means keeping all the parts to me at least, for a use further down the timeline.

I simply cut them in half then glued them in place under the petrol tank.

And then fitted the petrol tank to the bike. It still leaves me decals or stickers to fit, and the only ones I could find were over lacquer ones, not under, can not win them all.

So here is the almost finished bike, that inspired me taking the afternoon off and spending time with family instead, it was doctors orders, or more like Ian's email instructions. :-)

And as it is me taking a day off, I bid you a nice day and thanks for looking in.
