Harley-Davidson Motor Company has already announced that it will begin mass production of its first electric motorcycle in mid-2019, as a result of the fruits of the 'LiveWire' project started four years ago, according to Bloomberg.

Despite not having yet established a name for the new model, some of its main characteristics are already known. The new vehicle will have 55 kW of power and will have the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just four seconds.

Jhon Olin, financial director of Harley-Davidson, argues that the US company will invest between 25 and 50 billion dollars annually for the optimal development of this technology and, thus, take the leadership of the electric motorcycle market in the world.
