Start Fifth, Dovizioso Look For Duel with Zarco and Marquez

Le Mans - Start of fifth position in MotoGP France did not make Andrea Dovizioso lost confidence. Dovi is looking forward to a fierce duel with Johann Zarco and Marc Marquez.

With a best time of one minute 31.553 seconds, Dovizioso got the fifth start position in MotoGP France. He will start the race in the middle of the clasp of former team-mate Andrea Iannone and his current partner Jorge Lorenzo.

Although not able to finish from the front row, Andrea Dovizioso not too disappointed with it.

"In actual qualification I expect more, I have a chance to be faster again, but in the first two laps I was not aggressive enough, I braked, I quickly realized that I braked too fast I can not make a perfect lap that way," said Dovizioso quoted from Crash.

"But the difference in time of three to four per ten seconds (from pole position) shows me to have a good speed." In the end, the five positions do not matter, all the riders are fast laps, "he explained.

For Sunday night races, Dovizioso called Johann Zarco and Marc Marquez as their main competitors for the top podium of the French MotoGP. Even so, there are some other riders who judged have the same potential.

"I do not think it's a big deal to start the race from the second row, so I'm not too upset and I know we can actually make better timing, and in spite of that, our speed in racing is pretty good."

"I think Zarco's got a really good pace I think he'll be tough tomorrow (tonight) I see him racing and he's very motivated I think he will be one of the riders who fought for the podium and victory."

"Also Marc I think is very fast because he is able to take advantage of his bike's potential.I do not think he has the best speed here but he is really good at utilizing every situation in every race," explained the Italian MotoGP rider.
