So any reader of my blog will know i have some serious love for this guy. Not only was he one of the best riders of his generation, but he has proved it all, in every class he has raced in.

He was at the peak of his game, he was killing it race in, race out... then bang! All gone...

Does this look like fun? That's blood, sweat and tears..

How do you deal with that... Sure you take some tumbles in this sport but he was looking at losing his arm... gone...

what does harcore sound like?

"I was so far away from riding that my mind wasn’t even on dirt bikes or racing. Our focus was, ‘Let’s try and keep the arm.’ The second was, ‘Let’s see when we can roughly get it working again to where I can do normal life stuff.’ Those first five weeks were absolute hell."

If Kenny makes it back that is enough for me. He does not have to win, not even close to be the champ in my eyes.

He has gone to hell and back... and he smiled.. what can you say you have done that's close? :)

Love you dude, keep reppin!

This is so sad :(

He's coming back dude! :)

Cool

Ooh so sad, motocross is a dangerous game.

would not wish this on anyone but he is a fighter @patasieduagh :)

Oh my godddd,,,but that's the life...keep it up u can👍👍👍👍👍👍

He is fighting back @rinsansa :)

That's cooooooooooooollllll

oh man, its scary others, but feel sad for him.

yeah this is harsh for anyone.. but for someone with that much talent... :(

That looks ugly
I had an operation at my left hand because I almost cut 2 tendons with a skill saw
But his arm looks a lot worse than mine
I wish him a very fast recovery
I know racing is part of his life and he will miss it a bit but he will be fine in a while

He was pretty close to losing the entire arm... muscles had almost gone blue... :/

He is Lucky that he didn't lose it, he will recover but I am sure it will take some time and honesty I don't think he will be 100 % if he doesn't allow it to recover for some long time
Winch in racing or sports is never a good good thing because you get old and lose your skills
I myself after 3 years and still have bits of troubles and I really took all the time and made all treatments possible

Yeah it's a tough choice @greavideos! He has a big team behind him working 24/7 but it's still a big ask.

Sorry to hear you have been in the wars... i have had, and still do some issues.. :(

I am sure his team works hard to make sure he will be back 100% and I hope he will sooner than we expect.

Sorry to hear that you are as luck as we are
Anyway we are like Soldiers
We never give up

Have a lovely time Steeming

o my god. i get sad for him

dont be sad, think positive things :) he will be back!

yes , actually you are right! i hope so he come back soon and with a lot of power!

This is a tough sport. I've seen many with promising futures get hurt early one and never get close to realizing their potential. He has certainly shown some fabulous talent and I hope he can return to the glory. I think all of the greats have had to overcome their own challenges, this one is his.

The sport continues to draw more talent. Every year there seems to be at least one or two new rising stars. It's going to interesting to see what he's capable of after this. But I'll be looking forward to seeing it.

You know it @mikeonfire, its a tough hard sport and its eats its young... It teaches great spirit in kids though and teaches them to never give up. Important life lessons!

Very sad story indeed.

Hopefully he can turn it into a happy one :)
