Believe In Possibilities

in #motivation4 hours ago

If you had been told 20 years ago that today, you will be talking from one part of the world with a small handheld device and someone in another part of the world will not only be hearing you but will be seeing you in their own device, will you believe? In this era, we have seen this and many other things play out, just to prove that impossibility is just a mere creation of the mind. What someone may see as being impossible is what someone else may already be doing excellently well. When you believe that things are possible, they will become so for you.

You will be surprised that what you are seeing as impossible today, just give it a little time and effort, it will become a cheap possibility. When you have conditioned your mind to believe in possibilities, it will make you to dare anything and take any step because you know that something good will come out of it. Your actions are mostly a function of what you have been thinking over time. If you think possibility, then you will see yourself acting it out and before you know it, you will begin to get mind-blowing results. The truth is that things will continue to look impossible until you start to do it.

I have come to realise that the foundation of possibilities starts from the mind. If you can conceive it, then nothing stops you from actualizing it. Your reality can be shaped in manners you can never imagine just by the thoughts of the mind. Before humans left the earth for space travel, a lot of people thought it was impossible. Well, those people were limited from seeing it become reality and they excluded themselves from from achieving it. But the people that took steps because they thought it was possible achieved the impossible - the likes of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Yuri Gagarin, Michael Collins, etc. This shows that a lot of things can be determined by simply the way we perceived things from our mind.

It is true that you may be met with obstacles and challenges when you have set out to achieve what looks impossible, this is because new changes are normally contested, but you do not need to allow it to limit you from taking the steps. No matter the kind of obstacles that present to you, do not see them as unsurmountable or immovable, otherwise you will just exclude yourself from the breakthrough that may be right in your front. It is by surmounting the obstacles that you achieve the impossible. Before people made their way to the summit of Mount Everest, it was thought to be impossible and it actually discouraged a lot of people from attempting it because of its landscape. However, when Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay successfully climbed to the top of the Mount Everest because they believed they can, it ceased to be an impossible mission. This goes to show that you are as limited as your mind suggests you are.

In this era, a lot of things have been made so possible, so much in abundance than has ever been witnessed in the history of humankind. Take the field of technology for example, we have seen so many marvels that people never imagined a few years back. I once read in a science journal some months back where it was said that scientists have been able to develop a brain chip that, when implanted inside the brain, will create brain-to-brain communication without uttering a single words. That is like telepathy in another dimension. Imagine what this kind of technology will do to people who can't speak, they will be able to communicate without talking. A few years back, these things were not possible.

The speed at which Impossibilities are becoming not just possibilities but common is mind-blowing. At this point in life, I cannot doubt anything no matter how undoable it may appear. It may not look like something that is attainable at the moment, but it might become cheaply possible tomorrow. In order to do the impossible, you have to look beyond what is attainable at the moment, take daring steps, and then attempt to do what scares you. By taking risks today, you are creating a pathway of possibilities tomorrow.
