2 Samuel 13
Amnon became so obsessed with his sister Tamar that he made himself ill. She was a virgin, and it seemed impossible for him to do anything to her. Now Amnon had an adviser named Jonadab son of Shimeah, David’s brother. Jonadab was a very shrewd man. He asked Amnon, “Why do you, the king’s son, look so haggard morning after morning? Won’t you tell me?”
Amnon said to him, “I’m in love with Tamar, my brother Absalom’s sister.” Jonadab said to him lie down on your bed and pretend to be ill, when your father comes to see you tell Him you want your sister Tamar to give you bread. Amnon did as his friend advice and he was brought to shame
And this story in the bible which is found in
2 Kings 4:2-3

“Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.”
Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbour’s for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few.
Comparing this two story what can you say about it or what moral lesson did we learn from them
This stories depicts that run to the best people you can in times of trouble or seek advice from the best people.
Buh I will say we shouldn’t wait for the time of trouble to come before we try locating best people instead you need to find yourself among the best people you can because we are the reflection of those around us.
Friends only do one thing in our life, is either they pull us forward or pull us back. Either they add to our life or subtract from our life.
What friends or people do you find yourself in their midst, do they pull you forward or pull you back, add to your life or subtract from your life.
Is time to make a difference and rectifier your relationship, your friendship and those you locate or happen to be in their midst. Suli Beaks once said he has soo many friends on Facebook, twitter and Instagram buh all they ever did was like his picture.
That’s why I will say is important to have friends with benefits. But always remember one hands] washes the other before they can both wash the face. Before you expect good friends you need to learn to be one yourself.
Very thoughtful...keep up the good work
