In everyday life, we should find the best way to solve every problem that occurs. However, when faced with a problem we are often fooled, so that although the problem is solved, but the solution is not an efficient solution and even too complicated.
Let's look at it in the two cases below:
(2)
When NASA begins to send astronauts into space, they discover that their pens can not work in zero gravity, because the pen's ink can not flow into the pen's eye. To solve the problem, they spent a decade and 12 million dollars. They develop a pen that can work on states such as zero gravity, upside down, in water, in various surfaces including crystals and in degrees ranging from below freezing to over 300 degrees Celsius.
And what did the Russians do? They use a pencil!
Smiley: KISS Philosophy (Keep It Simple Stupid), which is always looking for a simple solution, so even a fool can do it. Try compiling the simplest and most likely solution to solve the existing problem. Therefore, we must learn to focus on solutions rather than on focusing on issues. When we look at what we do not have in our lives, we will have nothing. But when we look at what's in our hands, we have everything.
(1) The case of an empty soap box occurs in one of the largest cosmetics companies in Japan. The company received a complaint from customers saying that he had bought an empty soap box. Immediately the company's managers relayed the matter to the packing department responsible for moving all the packaged soap boxes to the shipping department. For some reason, there was a box of soap that escaped and reached the packing section empty. The management team asked the technicians to solve the problem. Immediately, the technicians worked hard to create an X-ray machine with a high-resolution monitor operated by two people to see all the soap boxes that passed through the rays and ensure that the box was not empty.
No doubt, they work hard and fast but the cost is not small. But when there is an employee in a small company faced with the same problem, he does not think about complicated things, but he comes up with a different solution. He buys an electric fan for an industry that has considerable power and directs it to the packing line. He turned on the fan, and every time there was a soap box that passed through the fan, the fan blew an empty soap box out of the packing line.
The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once.
