Culture and society

s there any difference between culture and society or any relationship between the two(2)?
'Culture is a complex whole which include knowledge, belief, art, moral, law, custom and any other capabilities and habit acquire by a man as member of the societies'. While 'society is a group of people who live together and are bound by the same ways of life'.
In the definition of culture we mention societies and in definition of society we mention ways of life of which culture is the total ways of life.
What can be deduce here is that Society may not be considered without a distinct culture.
