I have whole different set of habits if only I mange to listen to and are willing to act upon that subtle inner wake-up call in the mornings (usually at quarter to five). It always leaves me amazed and wondering, what I could actually get done if I managed to keep the "waking up early" streak, for say a week, a month, or even a year. The componded changes sould in fact be huge and life transforming.
Whenever I feel like I want to implement some changes in my life I always get overwhelmed, not being able to settle for just a single change, feeling like I have to manage everything at once and not being able to prioratize just one aspect. But in fact it is not true. I know fully well, which aspect I actually have to focus on, and it is this one. The waking up. Because the rest of it just follows so smoothly, so naturally, so much so, that I effectively am a whole new being.
And yes, I also know, that is not that much about not running into bumps and hickups, but more a matter of getting back on track as quickly as possible.
Shall we see how long can I maintain a streak?
People should know about this. Thanks! 💪🏻😊
Thanks, I'm happy to share what I find works for me, and if that helps and works for someone else too to bring about positive changes, then yay, that's just brilliant. :) ^^
I'm having the same thoughts as well. Thanks again for sharing!
Hi @josie2214. I don't do well with waking up either. I force myself to work the early shift, starts at 6:30 am, and I have it down to 15 minutes for me to get out of bed, throw on clothes, brush my teeth and get there. . . . but i'm miserable the whole time. i wish I could get up, make tea, stretch, etc. . . but it's eluded me for 2 years now. .
