YOU'RE WHAT YOU WEAR

in #motivation7 years ago

You don't go begging, all dressed in expensive apparels and trinkets. Otherwise you create a false impression of who you really are in the first place - A Beggar.

What you wear can inform people of your type of employment, as well as your goals, emotions and spending habits. It is human nature to judge other people in all sorts of ways. We judge people by accents, social status, names, the vehicle they drive, hair style, tattoo and also their clothing.

When someone dresses, their character, behavior & personality is a function of their choice of cloth. A Rockstar, artiste, Pastor, lawyer, Doctor & even a begger portray the image of who they are in their dressing. Your clothing is a reflection of your personality.

Whether you like it or not, the way you dress, is the way you'll be addressed. Take your time to carefully select your clothes everyday. Use your looks to promote your profession. A beggar can't be in expensive clothes & perfume & expect sympathy.

Great post @imohdavid. I really can't agree less with you. Your dressing is the first thing people see before they hear your address. Your dressing speaks volumes of your type of personality. That's why you should put on the appropriate type of clothes at all times so yours won't be mistaken for a different personality.

"the way you dress, is the way you'll be addressed".... A very true and practical line!
Well done.

Thank you
