Making Magic: Team Work

in #motivation6 years ago

The phrase "no man is an island" is a quotation from the English metaphysical poet John Donne (1572-1631).

The phrase is a metaphorical line that compares a man to an Island, opining that a person can only achieve so much on his own and more with a team.

Hear it from me- No one becomes anything without the input of friends.

So, here's from me to you...

YOU NEED A TEAM

I do okay on my own, but lately I have found that greatness will be achieved with people who resonate the same purpose. People who have the same drive and are propelled by the same force of a determination to succeed will go a long way in helping you achieve your goals. The kind of mental and emotional support and stability cliques give, beats whatever Me VersusThe World mentality anyone thinks they have. You do a lot on your own, you will do more with a team.

YOU NEED A GOOD TEAM

Now, when I say you need a team, I'm not implying that you pack every Tom, Dick and Harry that comes your way and refer to them as your "team."
There's need for a selection process to evaluate the relevance or otherwise of your team members.
The teamwork concept only comes to fruition when the team you choose is "good." You need people who are good individually. People who provoke and support your greatness. People who can tell you "you are doing well hommie, but you can do better." A good team would somehow force you to be good because you're somehow bound to reflect the ideals you are subconsciously exposed to. I have the most excellent people as close friends. My excellence has not been optional.

YOU NEED A SUPPORTIVE TEAM

Envy is a factor that can ruin a "good" team member. The form of teamwork I'm talking about is devoid of envy. Borne out of the realisation that the sky is big enough for all the birds to fly.
Support from a real friend comes naturally. You do not need to beg your friend to "epp" your brand or publicize your work. If that is the case, something is wrong somewhere and maybe you need new friends. If your friends are envious, they won't speak the truth to your face which is a very important part of good and sincere friendship.

I'm not a fan of cutting people off, a notoriously popular modus operandi amongst young people. I tolerate until they inhibitive and toxic.

There are fantastic personalities out there who would love to be with you, grow with you and "epp" you.

Do not let people ruin your life.

Let's all take a moment to analyze how much value our "friends" are adding to, or deducting from our being.

Sieve through, take the best.

Maybe you need a overhaul... Make new friends

Its really a strong team..togetherness all the way @fisteganos

A tree cannot make a forest.... Teamwork cannot and must never be underestimated

Can you be my friend @fisteganos 😂. I just listened to this song by Stevie Wonder Elton John and some other guys about something similar to this. Talks about friendship, teamwork never grow old, can't be overemphasised like wine. We all need one another to go far, friends that keep us going even when the going gets rough. You just always drop something to ponder about for the whole day. 💛💛

Lol. Go away. I don't want to be your friend Ife!

But you can't do this 😫
Fi! Fi! Fi! We are friends for ever 😂 😍

Nice team work according to me.

Keep on spreading the joy ✌️

Team work brings one big accord of togetherness wherein ideas are being shared on a different level of view from each team member!!! Nice one @fisteganos 💪😎

I totally agree with you on this....

I do okay on my own, but lately I have found that greatness will be achieved with people who resonate the same purpose. People who have the same drive and are propelled by the same force of a determination to succeed will go a long way in helping you achieve your goals.

Truth is, you cannot light fire in another man's soul unless it is burning in your soul. That's the kind of friends we need and should be, the one that can light fire.

Well done @fisteganos, the pictures above are really captivating.
