RE: Whatever You Want To Do, Do It With All Your Might

in #motivation7 years ago

"Gbenga if you want to succeed, do it well and if you want to fail, do it with pride, do it with all your might".

Same thing a close friend back in school would say "any thing worth doing is worth doing well".

Its either you wanna do it or you don't want to and since you want to, then give it your all. Thomas Edison tried 999 times at getting the electric bulb.

Though the number of times too generic to be true, the point is he kept at it judiciously cause it was what he wanted and loved. And finally he succeeded.

I needed to pass mathematics and the only way to pass it was to love it

Ah, had a lecturer that used this same statement. He was like :

" I know i am the most hated fellow in this department, but if you are to pass this course, you'll have to love me and love the course.

Because your hate for me would distract you from concentrating on what's important. And the most important thing right now, is gaining the knowledge i have to offer and scaling this course"

This stuck with me.
