Depression as you said is a public health issue as it has been increasing over the last few years, with this depression also being linked to other causes as excessive alcohol consumption.
As you said, one of the main advices to overcome depression is sharing time with other people, this way any person can become more ressilient and not be affected by difficult incidents or situations in life.
