Why has a lot of women kept so silent and mute presuming everything feels just right. I am of a great conviction that not all women are happy with it. So why not talk about this act. It is about time every living an gets to understand and deal with this. I call it the cry of a woman. It is all about the way and manner women are treated in some parts of the world. There is a deep cry of women which sometimes seem they have no one to speak for them. This day as the world celebrates women, we want to share the cries that women share in some parts of the world. The pain and hardship that mothers encounter in their quest to make life better for their children.
Should men be treated that same way, how is the situation going to be? Maybe men should have been allowed to bear some of these burdens that women bear always. It surely would have been an entirely different story to share anyway. Mothers wash the clothes of their children and that of the husband always. It might not be same at other places of the world but this is predominance here in Africa especially a place like Ghana.
Not only do women wash the clothes but make sure to get the family well fed. The smile that a mother puts on the face of a baby at the expense of the tears that engulfed her is underestimated. Women are certainly the backbone of the family that men claim to lead. Women visit the farms, work so hard at the market and make sure food is served for every single member of the family.
In the presence of all these struggles, the blames, the hardship and maltreatment from husbands, it hurts to see that some women are not given the needed respect they deserve. We are pleading on this day to all men on this blockchain to respect and appreciate the love and struggle of a woman in their lives. They make us complete. It is a humble plea that @girlsfoundationgh makes to all men here in Africa and beyond. Let us make women happy by simply appreciating the very little efforts to put up to ensure the maximum existence of the family's happiness and growth.
It is the cry of a struggling mother and women in our society. This is the love that we expect to see from men to enable women to do more than ever. We wish all women a happy day and blesses them in numerous ways. Mothers, be strong and share this day in happiness for it is your day for the world to appreciate all the things you do. Happy day to all women.
About girls foundation
The girls' foundation is a project set up to enlighten young ladies of their norms and value, advocate for the girl-child, encourage and support them with the little we can. We believe the girl-child can bring about change in our society. Women are essential to the nation because they take care of its children, the children are the future leaders of the nation, if you are familiar with the bible you must have heard of this verse “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he won‟t depart from it”.Girls foundation was founded by a group of selfless ladies, it is a non-governmental organization and believes in decentralization.
VISION:-
- To enlighten youths of their purpose in life. We believe once you know the truth and purpose of your existence you are free, the journey to success and failure now lies in your hands.
- Rape free society- Rape is a sexual assault carried out against a person forcefully. The rate at which girls are being raped these days is alarming, we are also humans and we deserve respect. Most rape victims suffer from trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, serious injuries and in some cases pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection.
- Fight against domestic violence- it is also known as intimate partner violence, domestic abuse or family violence; it's a form of violence committed in a domestic or family setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation. It is called intimate partner violence when committed by a spouse and called family violence when it involves the kids, parents or elders. Domestic violence has several effects on the human that's is why girls foundation is picking it up. Effects of domestic violence include:
1.) Physical effect: This involves bruises round the victim, broken wrists, shortness of breath, etc.
2.) Mental effect: This involves PTSD (post-traumatic stress),
pressing, drug abuse, suicidal thoughts, etc.
3.) Emotional effect: This involves feeling unworthy, hopeless and not motivated, etc.
4.)It affects the development of the kids and they suffer from
depression, anxiety, fear, etc
Domestic violence always produces an international cycle of violence. Funny, only a few people see themselves as being abused; considering it as a family matter. - Girl education: Some people still believe that training a female child is a waste of time and money 'cause they feel she'd still end up in the kitchen, well sorry to disappoint you but ladies can do much more than just being housewives, lots of educated women are doing fine in our society today. Every child deserves an equal right to education. We don't think anyone should be treated differently because of their gender, we are all one and it's high time we realized that.
CONCLUSION:-
The primary aim of the girls' foundation is to enlighten youths and increase the awareness of the steem blockchain and steemit. Giving girls the ability to create wealth with their writing skills, without waiting for government intervention.
