If you come to North Aceh, it is not complete if you have not visited Bujang Salim Mosque. The mosque is located on Jalan Ramai, Keude Krueng Geukuh Village, Dewantara District, North Regency. Accessible via Medan-Banda Aceh national road. From the direction of Banda Aceh, arrive at Krueng Geukuh intersection, turn left about 400 meters.
The name of this mosque is taken from the name of a noble, cleric, as well as the hero of Indonesian independence named Teuku Bujang Seulamat. Even he is the initiator of the founding of this mosque.
The splendor of this mosque is seen from its vast area, its vast and towering building, its shape and its relief. The mosque has an area of 1,650 m2 and is able to accommodate 2,500 pilgrims.
