BlackBerry, the Canadian telecommunications software group, announced on Tuesday, March 6, filing a complaint against Facebook for violating its patents for messaging applications of the US social network. The US social network has strongly denied to AFP these accusations that "unfortunately reflect the state of messaging" of the Canadian group, according to Paul Grewal, deputy director of Facebook's legal department. "Having stopped innovating, BlackBerry is now trying to tax the innovation of others, and we intend to fight," he added.
