- Due to economic and educational problems in the US, man has not been allowed to visit the moon since 1972. It is now suspected that the US will probably never be capable of going to the moon again.
- Considering only 12 people have actually walked on the surface moon, it's understandable that so many Americans believe that the US government faked the lunar landing. With fake news, backed by a dishonest government, it is possible that man has not actually been to the moon.
- In 2002 Astronaut Buzz Aldrin punched a "conspiracy theorist" in the face for saying that he did not actually go to the moon.
- While the US may not have the technology to go to the moon, it certainly does have the resources to fake the lunar landing. It is certainly possible man has yet to go to the moon, and the US faked the lunar landing as just a show of technological advancement. However, proponents say that astronauts left a lazer relay, basically a shiny object, which is proof of the landings.
- Americans, distrustful of our government, especially since the supposed lunar missions, and several botched wars, have become rightfully reluctant to fund further lunar missions. Politicians have failed to lead or govern, as the US economy capitulated, and now the US is much poorer. Going to the moon would be inappropriate in an economy where the majority of Americans lack basic needs. So far, no one on the entire planet is willing to pay for such a mission. Whatever it costs, the Earth no longer has it.
- Some have proposed the director, Stanley Kubrick helped the government fake the lunar landings. Some argue that his film 2001, A Space Odyssey actually appears to be more realistic than the footage from the lunar landing.
- One of the biggest arguments against the truth of a lunar landing is how little was gained from a supposedly massive effort. The public has little to show for all that government funding.
- None of the photographs taken on the moon contain stars. Not a single photo, nor a single star. All starless and incredulously black skies. Meanwhile, the actual moon has no atmosphere, which would have made the stars very visible... if they actually went there.
- Americans are expected to believe that the US went to the moon, while losing the Vietnam War, and during the cold war. It seems unreasonable, though perhaps the nation was differently abled at different tasks?
- According to Gallup Polling data, the majority of Americans are against a government based attempt to go to Mars. This may be due to the government doing such a lack luster job on Earth.
As millennials decide for themselves, whether to believe in the notion of a lunar landing, one thing is clear, whether or not you are a lunar believer, not going to the moon, nor going to Mars, are a good investment because more than likely the government will use it as a distraction to not perform its actual responsibility. With millions of poor homeless Americans around the nation, it's us millennials that will have to take Uncle Sam's toys away. Those resources are best spent keeping our environment clean.
