Decided to get a bit dramatic with the St Peter's image, editing in a dramatic sky in post production. Here's the original shot. Bare in mind, the photo was taken in 1989, shooting on E6 slide film. It was then processed in 1996 as a 'reversal print' and this digital image was taken as a scan from that print around ten years ago. Obviously, the original slide when viewed projected on screen has far more depth and colour. Perhaps i should re-scan all my slides using modern technology to do the images justice.
