RE: A Little Bit of Monochromatic Love

in #monochromemonday5 years ago

Of course, it should not be seen as a job. It's a hobby ... addictive, I wanted an activity after retirement. I haven't retired yet so I don't have enough time to consider it fun. I think it helps me in many ways ... less to earn money. So it's a hobby!
I am not a regular participant in contests. I have to like it and this #monomad is a pretext for writing a blog and taking some pictures.
My favorite contest is the one hosted by @kus-knee!

Kus-knee has the best! Always. I love his and have not been able to participate much as I am way too busy of late.

I am pretty sure you will find plenty to keep you busy!!!! You will be out of time, I can tell. With that new grandbaby coming, it will surely be its time! I don't know why I thought you retired, but, it is coming soon, right?

I wish you well and I hope you are doing better from your accident.

As always, have a great day!

I look forward to seeing you participate in a future contest.
I am retired but this year I had a proposal to work in Iasi and because of this I am far from home.

Well, good for you! A little extra $$ never hurt anyone. As for contests, I rarely have time to keep up with my own little stuff although I love them all. I don't know how you have so much time! It takes me forever to answer comments and do posts.

Yes, as you say...a little extra $$ never hurt anyone. In addition, a small change in life can only be good.
Of course you don't have time, not only that you respond to all comments but many of your comments are larger than many posts from here.

Oh, that is so funny!! Well, I try to make it worth it. These Nice post and Awesome content makes me sad because they are people who really don't want to interact, just merely get counted as commenting.

Not every comment can or even has to be long, just some have a tendency to get that way. If someone posts to your challenge and takes hours and hours putting it together, how rude to take two seconds to read and respond to it. I like to at least give them the same courtesy they paid me when they took their good time to do it. So, I like to take my time and read everything they write and try to respond in kind.

While I am sure some hate long comments, I am sure there is a balance that I am missing. ;)

Have a most awesome night, Dan! @bluemoon

How strange! Sometimes I see that you know me very well and sometimes it seems like you don't.
All I said about the comments was admiration for your work. I would like to do this as well as you.
My poor English does not allow me ... When I write longer texts, the effort is intense and time consuming.

Oh, I wasn't talking about you writing longer texts. You never write two-word comments. I meant that sometimes I wish people would take a moment to let their comment show that they read it or that they are even interested in it or not.

To be honest, Americans are lucky it is in English. Any other effort would put them out of the game. Most won't make the effort to learn another language, no less write it. They would just not join. That is the truth.

I think I was just tired before after working so many nights in a row. I don't sleep as well during the day and become, let me say, a little bit cranky. :)

Have a great morning, Dan! @bluemoon
