Have you ever heard the term, "The one percent"? Why is it that one percent of the world's population holds almost half of the world's wealth? What separates "them" from others? Here are some reasons below as to why the successful people are successful.

THEY GO AGAINST THE CURRENT

To make it to the top one percent club, you need to do what others don't. There is a reason why the most successful get there. They go against what others are doing. They create their own course and follow it. Even when no one else thinks that course is logical, successful people stick to their gut.

THEY ARE BUSINESS OWNERS

The top one percent of the world's richest, don't work a 9-5. The majority of them own businesses. To be really wealthy, you have to own a business or several businesses. Yes, you can make a great living working a 9-5 job, but the majority of top earners own companies.

THEY THINK NON-TRADITIONALLY

You can't become successful by doing the same thing as everyone else. The world's most successful people think of how to make money in others ways than just showing up at a job and punching in and out everyday.

THEY ARE CREATORS

The top one percent create things. They create companies, jobs, and products to sell. They are always looking forward to new ways to make money and generate wealth. They create new services, they fill needs and are problem solvers. They are in tune to what other's need and they fill that void while getting paid for it.

THEY DON'T HAVE ONLY ONE SOURCE OF INCOME

It has been said that the average millionaire has 7, yes 7, sources of income! The members who hold the top one percent of the world's wealth don't simply make an income from a job. The rich have multiple streams of income. They multiply their earnings by creating multiple streams of income. They do this in case something happens to one stream, they have others they can rely on.

THEY HAVE AN UNMATCHED WORK ETHIC

The most successful people are always extremely hard workers. People who become wildly successful don't just leave their work at their job at 5pm and never think about it again until morning, they are constantly working. That means all day, all night, weekends, holidays. To become really successful, these people have an unmatched work ethic.

THEY NOT ONLY WORK HARD, BUT THEY WORK SMART

Not only do the most successful people work extremely hard, but they work extremely smart. They know that their time is valuable. Successful people minimize their effort while maximizing their profit. They cut out what isn't working and focus on what is. They repeat this process over and over again and don't dwell on things that aren't working.

THEY TAKE RISKS OTHERS WON'T

Successful people take risks others won't. They take a chance on themselves. The most successful people aren't afraid of failure. They are risk takers. They know that the faster their fail, the faster they will succeed through learning.
