Curious which expiration did you use, what was the strike, IV, theta, delta. Reason I ask is cause I didn't see a huge move. It was less than 2%. I guess contract size would matter. How many shares were/are you holding?
Trying to figure out this straddle strategy that most of GM's followers are so hip to.
THANKS!!!!

Trade Well!!!!

Hey Chris. I'm new to following Greg's work. He offers some great info on his website traderschoice.net. Currently, I'm following his recommendations and letting him deal with IV and the greeks. As Greg suggests, I straddle with small contract sizes and see how they play out and then either add to and close out positions when the direction that the underlying stock is clearly evident. If you haven't checked out traderschoice.net, do so. Admittedly, I still have a lot to learn . Trade Well, my friend!

I'd love to see some proven trades (with date and time stamp) from his trading platform showing that his system works. I have in the past, without revealing my account size or account number.
Albeit the last trade I posted shows a minimum account size due to the margin requirement. It was a 15 large profit, but my percentage was 1. 89 % or so. However my goal isn't to boast or brag. Just that trading capital, and profitable trades following a video admitting getting beat down into being profitable on the trade says a lot.
Neither here or there, I looked up the trade y'all are in and back tested the trade. It should be flat to slightly negative.
That's why I love TOS. You can go back in time and see the trades, along with their performance. They keep the data on their servers as backtestimg is a good way to understand the underlying and how it trades in accordance with the chart.
There is a shit ton of knowledge out there. Just gotta know how to use it!
I wish you the best Steven.
Trade Well!
Chris
