May be new kids here no idea about old grandpa bubblews but i still remember the taste of writing posts and waiting to see it reach 1$ mark to smile. We could safe to say that the concept of earning money from writting content is not brought to world by bubblews but short posts and earn for views , shares and likes came from bubblews.
I personally think it should have been one of the best sites ever (probably have exceed the popularity of many social networking sites) if they succeed on protecting the site and scamming writers. Yeah i had to use the word "scam" here because when people mention bubblews , typically next question is "where is my 200$" .
What are your thoughts about down fall of bubblews?

I have heard of it on the Discord channel. And others worked there.

Bubblews is exactly like steemit. You can create maximum 10 posts per day. The authors getting paid for views and likes. 0.01$ per a view and 0.01$ per like. Site earn money from google adsense and share the profit with authors. lots of people used to write there and earn a lot. But the hiccup was they sometimes don't pay money and authors get discouraged because of that . In the end site has to close down due to massive bot attacks which owners not able to handle. I think steem it is an improved version of bubblews. hugs back @paradise-found
