Pennsylvania American Water Co.’s proposal to hike rates 16.4 percent.
Since its last rate increase, the company has made and continues to make substantial investments in new and replacement facilities to rehabilitate and replace infrastructure to meet customers’ demands for service. The company has invested more than $1.26 billion in source of supply, treatment, distribution and collection assets.
