I've been following the SteemHunt project from a long way back, but what's the best way to earn free 'Hunt' Tokens? Now I've tested a number of ways to get these Hunt Tokens since the SMT Airdrop was announced, and often with surprising results.
So today I'll share with you the best way to earn Hunt tokens, and it's probably not what you think.
But why would you want to accumulate SteemHunt Tokens in the first place?
Personally I feel this is a case of backing the jockey rather than the horse. And I've gathered over 5000 Hunt Tokens already.
You see, the SteemHunt team are extremely active in developing the SteemHunt platform and often have weekly announcements with changes to the code or voting structure to make SteemHunt a level playing field.
An active development team is a sure sign, they have a strong vision they're working towards and rather that develop a Steem interface then move on, they are looking to further refine the offering so it can be adopted by a world-wide audience.
Yes, we are the guinea pigs helping to shape the future of this cool platform.
But that's not why I'm excited.
I'm more excited by the future of the Hunt tokens as SteemHunt already has a plan to give them utility as can be seen in this SteemHunt project flow diagram.

And as you can see there are opportunities where people might buy the Hunt Tokens for use in one of their other platforms. Which will give them a monetary value.
This is exciting news and if it develops as expected you'll certainly want your fair share of Hunt tokens in your digital token portfolio.
So what is the best way to earn SteemHunt tokens?
Well at first I thought it was to vote on the various Steem Hunts, as you receive a few hunt tokens plus curation rewards when you upvote SteemHunts on their platform.
But after doing the math, I discovered it was a lot less hassle to simply hand over a small delegation, and you'll receive Hunt tokens weekly.
So now I have a steady flow of Hunt tokens hitting my SteemHunt Wallet every week. Plus, SteemHunt also send over a little STEEM as reward for your delegation, which is a bonus.
So even if you don't have much to delegate it'll all add up by the time the SMT is launched.
And I suspect when they start giving out Hunt tokens for actually submitting SteemHunts, that will be worth something too.
But the number one way to earn Hunt Tokens is...
To simply promote SteemHunt in articles like this one.
As stated in this SteemHunt announcement, SteemHunt are rewarding people who promote SteemHunt with a portion of their airdrop tokens.
For the last few weeks I received 2000 Hunt Tokens, for articles I wrote about SteemHunt, which was quite unexpected but greatly appreciated as it'll help me to reach my goal of 10,000 Hunt Tokens.
But you must sign into SteemHunt.com at least once so they can add the tokens to your wallet.
Now I don't know how long the reward will be this high, so start promoting SteemHunt Today! And if you are lucky @SteemHunt might even give you an upvote if they appreciate your contribution to the SteemHunt conversation with is an added bonus.
But if you've found a better way to earn 'Hunt' tokens then let me know in the comments below.

Read your article and it all seems complicated. What is delegating tokens? Many questions like this come to mind for those who know nothing about Hunt tokens and things like that...or are new to Steemit.
