Nothing wrong with greed as long as it is not hurting other people.
Indeed my friend.
Liberals don't care about the fall out of their actions as long as the INTENTIONS are good.
Conservatives care not about the intentions one have for doing anything, greed being such one, as long as your ACTIONS are good.
By the way feel free to visit my blog for Trading and investing advce, been following Greg for a long time and have developed my own strategies.
Greed is a word that I feel is misunderstood. Everyone wants the best for their families, and would not see themselves as being "greedy" in obtaining it, why others would hold a different opinion. It all comes down to a point of view. My personal belief is that we should work hard every day to realize our potential spiritually, financially and morally, thus we grow evenly to be a more useful human being in our world. I think having these three components in continual harmony is key to realizing success and find it not coincidence that some of the most successful people in history, have also been some of our greatest philanthropists. So greed in this sense, can be looked on in a positive light, but when greed leads to an obsession of a thing, you become out of balance and self destructive to yourself and others.
Greed comes in many costumes. Your are correct. Greed for happiness, greed for the release of pain, greed for a longer life. I get it thanks Greg.
You are wise my friend.
You also got a penny for my Upvote number 6... Check out Pocket Change... I do have some good things to say... Thanks...
I just gave you an Upvote which gave you a penny...lol... I hope there will be more coming your way... As long as I'm here, how about checking out a few of the things I posted on my site... Thanks... Pocket Change...
In Buddhism, desire (greed) is the cause of all suffering. That's because someday in the future everything we own will be taken from us by death.
That's why Buddha taught people to be generous. If one can give things away generously, he can let things go more easily. Therefore he suffers less than those who wants to hold on to everything.
Interesting out look.
Two Thumbs up on you response to Greed... Pocket Change...
I believe there is a big difference between being greedy and being ambitious.
I can be ambitious, I can't be greedy, what about you Greg?
I'm not Greg, but I can post a few words for you... I suppose when you're down and out with lots of bills that need to be paid, you wouldn't be considered greedy if you failed to help a friend in need... It's a very touchy subject... i guess you have to weigh your options and choices... There's no one correct answer... Pocket Change...
As we are currently living in a period of extreme greed, deployed by the central bankers, one should also ask : ''at what point does greed become bad ?''. What's the difference in owning 1 billion vs 2 billions ? What does that extra 1 billion brings you ? Shouldn't you be obliged to ''pay it forward'' at some point ? What is the cutoff ?
Nice answer on the topic of Greed... I gave some money to a needy person in Prague once... I was shocked when I saw him give some of it to an even more needy person... I was very impressed to say the least... Pocket Change...
All things in moderation appears to work well! Thanks for the post.
My motto exactly. Moderation is key. The most shown greediest, successful people in the world(the ones on the idiot box routinely) seem to fall into the psychopath arena unfortunately.
You bet. Thanks Greg, for all your work. Have a good one.
Greg seems to be doing very well in Steemit... I've yet to see anyone doing better... I hope he mentions Pocket Change in one of his Videos... I do have a posting about it... Pocket Change...
Please enlighten me 'bout 'Pocket Change'. I would like to know. Thanks. I will follow.
Pocket Change, as per my theory will increase in buying power by 100 fold... They say the Dollar has lost between 95 and 98% of its buying power... Sounds very close to losing all it's buying power to me... So if the buying power reaches 1% you're left with a Penny's worth of buying power... I think when the Banks and or the Dollar crashes, the Paper and Digital Dollars will get you perhaps a penny for each paper or digital dollar turned in... Let's say you go to the bank and turn in a Twenty Dollar Federal Reserve Note... As per my theory, the Bank will give you Two Dimes... Think about that for a while... Right now, you can go to the Bank and with the same 20 Dollar Note, they will give you 200 Dimes... I could be wrong about the Paper and Digital Dollars and or the Banks crashing, but what would it hurt to hold onto some Pocket Change...??? If nothing else, you'll be holding a handy Medium of Exchange outside of the Banking System...
Nice one. thank you.
The form of greed that is bad is crony capitalism. When it is honest greed and sound capitalism, that is good.
Great Post as always Greg!!
Without greed humanity would remain at a standstill, greed drives everything forward like it or not
Agreed.
I suppose Greed means "wanting more"...??? Is anyone ever satisfied with what they have...??? Still, there does come a time when you're willing to give up some things to people in Need... I'm currently in a position to help someone... It is my choice to make and I decided to help... Pocket Change...
Greed is great. Greed is self-interest and self-interest powers the free market. Without the free market we wouldn't be enjoying nearly as high a quality of life. Nobody would have cars, homes, iPhones, clothes - anything. Without greed and self-interest, nobody would produce anything, and therefore nobody could consume anything. Greed powers everything and makes everything better for everyone. Competition and the free market will move us forward.
Greed is one of the seven deadly sins, i think that about sums it up.
thanks greg for all the great daily videos,
It seems to me that 'Greed' is an inherently negative word. It comes with connotations that include but are not limited to: Obsession, Blindness to consequence, lack of gratitude, lack of balance, etc. It implies a single-mindedness of purpose that accounts not for hurtful actions intended or otherwise. To apply 'Greed' to 'pursuit of happiness is sophistry (something Hollywood is very good at) Greed ultimately destroys the greedy. Paying it Forward is being grateful. Gratitude is key. Gratefulness. Blessing out of our abundance (such as it is). Greg you are not greedy. I doubt many of your readers are either. Keep the information flowing we are grateful.
In my opinion Gold and Silver has hit strong support, and is heading for first 16.8 then 17.3 before choosing direction yet again.
What is your view on silver gregory?
Hello Everyone.
I recently joined steemed by encouragement of the great Gregory.
I will be posting (at bare minimum) weekly positions of commodities (mostly silver and gold). Please follow and upvote guys, lets take down the banks globalists together.
I will of course follow back.

Greed is good when it comes to moral matters - for example, if I want more money, I should work better and longer in my work. Greed is immoral when someone tries to fool another person to get money - for example, a financial spokesman tells his clients to buy a financial instrument (which will lose, but the financial adviser doesn't care about it because he only wants a margin from the sale of financial instruments).
Greed is what makes us human. If no one were greedy, no man would pursue female tail.
I think wanting good things for yourself and your family has been given a bad wrap and has also been mislabeled "Greed." I think it is a good thing to want something and go after it! Settling for government handouts means surrendering freedoms and has never made anyone happy.
Hi there again I'm loving your reports. By the way, do you know if Greg Hunter of USA Watchdog is here on Steemit, I'd love to see him on Steemit also, great reporting. 🎙
Greg Hunter isn't on Steemit, not yet. hope, he will follow soon...
Hi Greg, excellent post as always.
Do you use the same hair product as Gordon Gekko? Lol!
Let's not get Greedy...lol... Just kidding... Everyone here wants either an Upvote or a Resteem... As long as I'm here, how about doing a Video about Pocket Change, the "Other" hard asset...???
The above post was meant for Gregory Mannarino, but most of my posts to Gregory get lost in the crowd...
Abundant life I think is a more positive way to frame it. Greed can possibly be interpreted as seeking to acquire in order to fill up some inner emptiness. But living life abundantly is a very, very good thing :)
Yes. I agree with you. Living abundantly in all things: health, wealth, love....is something that we all have a right to. The powers that be have planted feelings of lack in us, that we must "earn a living." Abundance is our God-given right.
So how do you like steemit?
At least you won't be posting for nothing.
one of my all time favourite scenes. why? because in that speach he drops the bombshell way before anone was talking of it, that being the United States being an actual corporation implying laws applied under that jurisdiction. thnx for all the hard work Greg and thnx for bringing me and us here at Steemit
I look at Greed as just something that is present in capitalism. How much or how little is all relative. Its kinda like speech, there is no such thing as hate speech, or good speech, or bad. Its just all speech and up to the listener to decide for themselves.
Hey Greg, I see that you are using that drawing of yourself that you posted on Twitter as your profile pic. What an honour for the person who drew it! Posted my first ever blog today here, thanks to you. Never done one on any other site, ever. I wouldn't know about this place if I didn't follow your youtube channel. Thanks again :)
I think greed is good as long as it is accompanied by a tempered ego, never let it get to your head.
You da man Greg :-)
Greed is good, just as long as you're aren't infringing on someone's rights or their property. It's your right as a human being to want to prosper, as everything the world provides was created by God, a Creator, or just by chance if you are an atheist. No man should be subservient to another man unless he obliges to it.

Hey Greg,
It seems I have been flagged by admin for being a truther. It seems to go against there community standards. This has been my passion for 5+ years helping to spread the word on social media.
Could you please take notice of it. As you can see I mentioned you and Sean @ SGT REPORT and how this is not a good thing to do to the truthers movement and all the battle YOUTUBE, GOOGLE, FADCISTBOOK is doing.
When does the desire for whatever it is you want become "greed"? At what point does that line get crossed where it starts to have a negative impact on you and/or others?
Greed is wanting something, greed is a powerful motive but it has its place as long as its not to the detriment to your fellow man. Zealous comes to mine as long as its not fanatical so greed must not be all consuming.
No it's evil and drags the worst out of people but everyone has greed in them .
Capitalism is based on greed. That is why the USA is the greatest country on the planet.
Mike
look@kingworldnews what Greyerz means by "greed is good" ;-)
