FOLLOW THE FUTURES MARKET with regard to the price action of Bitcoin... because here the tail is wagging the dog.
If/when Bitcoin is being bid higher in the futures exchanges, Bitcoin will follow higher.
I understand this is a hard concept for many to understand, but is it happening IN YOUR FACE.
The Wall Street Wizards are running the show here.

Assuming that a bond market implosion leads to a stock market implosion and carnage in the real estate market, where will all of that scared money go?
In such a scenario, a flight to safety would have two main options, precious metals and crypto. Potentially trillions could pour into crypto. As the “brand” that many scared investors recognize most, Bitcoin would stand to receive the attention of a lot of that capital.
This is exactly why I’m buying Steem lately rather than Bitcoin.
I believe alt coins will gain popularity in a rebellion against the bitcoin manipulation.
@rusticman1...I'm quite sure it will be like that. Out of Bitcoin. I study alt coins since 7 months very intensive. I came to the conclusion that Ether and Steem are my absolute top shots. I am not a Blockchain-Specialist but I am programming Internet since 18 years. After the big drop it's a perfect entry point now.

Manipulation is occuring for sure but there is an ever increasing well meaning investor base at the same time.
Bitcoin is going to reach over a trillion in market cap and when it does these whales will have a harder time to sway market sentiment.
Eventually Bitcoin will revival gold for market cap and as it does the price will be perhaps "stable" and growth more marginal.
But bitcoin is not dead. Hope we all agree with that.

I'm glad you used "FOLLOW THE FUTURES MARKET" to grab attention to this article Greg. You're right on. It's very scary how few people actually understand how these futures instruments now control the price action. What's worse, is that most folks don't realise that half of the mining pool influence of BTC is controlled by a select - People who are now so wealthy that playing the futures market (and murdering all retail traders who came to the party way too late) is the name of the game. They can place bets either way now on the futures exchange and then buy, or sell, on the crypto exchanges as much as they like to move the price with their influence AND NEVER LOSE THEMSELVES!
Even Mike Novogratz isn't powerful enough, or stupid, to mess with who's now controlling this asset - he's just delayed the launch of his crypto hedge fund - very wise move.
Be careful with this asset class folks, there's some nasty people out there doing bad things.
The days for the idealists amongst us regrading BTC are long gone and she's in the hands of the banksters now and that means we're playing by their rules, and they don't play fair.

To be honest, yes, I added today. I didn't try to bottom feed, so once the price stabilized, I added. Don't forget, we've never seen anything like Bitcoin and Altcoins in the past. This is brand new to all of us. Wild price swings are to be expected. Wall Street is going to do anything possible to profit from this mania. Don't get me wrong, this is a mania, but it's not going away anytime soon.
@shootingsports...The only chance for Bitcoin is, that i will be an new gold standard. Since 1 month I'm absolutely certain, Bitcoin never will be something like that. So it's worthless. If you are lucky, CMS will push bitcoin up. But I wouldn't bet on that. Steem or Ether will go up for sure.
Heck, might as well call it up 50% from where you sold. I'm not a BTC pumper, but you were dead wrong where you sold. You were "weak hands."
