Enjoying Leisure and Fun Without Compromising Your Savings and Investment.

in #money8 years ago

Whether or not you have regular jobs and income, people can now enjoy leisure and have fun without compromising their savings and investment.

In the first place, people should never compromise leisure and fun despite on a limited income and tight budget.

Here are few wise living tips that would still leave you some savings and investment despite spending some money on leisure and fun:

1. Control the Risk.

Many of us are focused on making money and gains through investment but what could happen when we lose? We need to understand that whenever we invest, we can stand to lose.

So when we cannot afford to lose, then we should not take the risk. But if you can control the risk, you might consider making small investment at a time.

2. Never Compromise Enjoying Leisure and Fun while Saving.

Whether or not you have regular jobs, it is wise to save at least 20% of your pay. This means that you have to live within your budget.

Here are some realistic Budget Tips for a Family on their income:

45%:  goes to food and transportation

25%:  goes to rental/amortization and utility bills

10%:  goes to leisure and wants. Never compromise this leisure and fun because this rejuvenates your mental and physical aspects of your body. Remember, your health is your ultimate wealth.

20%:  goes to savings – this is for emergencies, retirement, or investment. Eventually, your savings could go a long way of bringing you more money through wise investment.

3. Avoid Making Premature Acquisition of Assets.

Do not make purchases of assets when you can only afford for a down payment.

Many people purchase properties with enough money for a down payment and the rest of the obligation are paid mostly through bank financing.

Make sure you have a solid source of income that can pay your monthly amortization without compromising your fixed savings and fixed budget for your expenses. Otherwise, avoid making premature acquisition of assets.

Can you compromise fun out of savings? How long would you go far on compromising?

It is nice to hear your thoughts.
