Part 1 - Do we need Money or are we just not using it properly?

in #money6 years ago

This is a question that has been on my mind for a while and I wish to share my opinion on it with you.

It’s not whether a moneyless society is possible or not, its whether we can create such a system in the current world that we live in today. But with all the greed and corruption happening in the world, something must change or the bottom 99% are going to be poor and hungry if this madness keeps up for the next few decades.

I have been following Mike Maloney now for almost a year and it seems like we don't need to get rid of money but just change the type of money we use. If you have watched his series on YouTube 'the hidden secrets of money', which I highly recommend you watch, he describes how money is not currency, in that money has a set supply and currency does not.

Money is more like gold and silver, in that its supply is limited to what we can dig up, while currency can be printed to our hearts content since its supply has no fixed value to go against and has not had one since President Nixon un-tethered it from gold in 1971.

It is then evident that fiat currency needs to be removed from our society in exchange for the more reliable and robust money like gold and silver. This will not solve all the problems but at least prevent untold amounts of debt to be created out of thin air through fractional reserve banking methods and will be a step in the right direction.

I believe we will eventually form a moneyless society at some point in the future but before then a transitional period will be needed for us to get there and that Mike Maloney's direction is the first step we need to get onto this transitional path.

So, we have created a system where the money supply is limited but this still leaves us in the hands of the elites, they may have lost some of their wealth, but they still hold the top 1 percent of wealth in the world, how do we get some of this back?

I think this is where cryptocurrencies play a part in this transitional period. Gold and silver may prevent masses of debt from occurring, but the banks still control how we use our money and this needs to change.

If the world transitioned into a precious metals and cryptocurrency world then much of this corruption will be removed.  No more third parties needed to confirm transactions have taken place and individuals can start to take control of their own wealth again.

There are almost 1.5 billion Indians and most of them do not even have access to a bank account, and so their online transactions are extremely limited since banks do not allow people with just a few bucks to have an account.

And this is where cryptocurrency wallets play a massive role, since the software does not judge a person and cannot refuse account appraisal based on how much money he has.

Blockchain technology is going to play such a massive role in the coming years that I will write a separate article on this topic, and so I will keep it brief during this blog post.

At this point during the transitional period we have resolved the monetary aspect of the world, but we will still have many challenges ahead of us, such as government control, large corporate monopolies, the legal system, military conflicts, resource management and many more problems to resolve.

My current conflicts are; How do we challenge the current legal system? How do we reduce the size of government? How do we dismantle the global military system? How to build this new world with limited financial support? How are we going to convince the indoctrinated population that the system we wish to create is for the betterment of humanity?

I have an idea of where we need to be but I have yet to discover the details of the path to follow and so I will continue this topic in part 2 on the next blog, and hopefully with your feedback I can continue to discover what we need to do during this transitional period.
