I know the title looks like it is just clickbait but we live in a time where it is really possible to make money at home and it is called PASSIVE INCOME. Passive Income is money you make from content you put out online and keep making money on.
I have done research on the subject and I am going to share with you how you do it and give some more information on how it works.

First of all I want to say that it is not easy to make passive income and that it takes a lot of work and time before you to start making money.

The first step to making passive income is putting out content. Then after you made the content you have to find a way to monetize what you put out. Youtubers for example, get money from ads they put on their video and even if you would watch that video 10 years from now, the creator of that video will still get money from it. Youtubers may also have merch on a site where you can sell T-shirts and they link and advertise it in their video so fans buy those clothes. This way the youtuber makes even more money, even when he is asleep.

I am going to give you different ways to make passive income so you can use them yourself

Let's start off by saying that building an audience for your steemit blog is a great way to start off. Steemit itself can make you money if you are getting upvotes but you can even make more money if you advertise your monotized content.

I put out pictures of clothing designs I made for my design portfolio and then I put them on a site named Teespring.com and put a link to my store on Instagram. This way if someone likes my design they can easily buy it by clicking the link. 2. Amazon associates: Amazon associates is a way of affiliate marketing. This is means that you can advertise products from Amazon and when people click the link you shared with them and they actually buy something, even if it was another product than the one you had promoted you get a percentage of the profit. This is a great way to make more money if you are a blogger or youtuber. Let's say you are a photographer and you write a blogpost about which camera to buy. You can put a link in the post so they can immediatly buy it on Amazon. This strategy again only helps if you give your audience value.

3. Bring value to people in the same niche: This means that you can help people that do the same things you do.
   Some examples

• Produce music for rappers: they are always looking for beats to rap on and you can sell one beat multiple times
• Create mockups: If I am designing I can sometimes need a mockup of a t-shirt or a business card so I can present it to the client. I don't want to make it myself but there are people that already made it and they can sell the mockup to me and make money themselves
• stockphotos: Photographers can sell their pictures on certain platforms so other people can use them.

These are all ways to make passive income and there are many more ways. I would suggest you to do your research and put the time and effort into making it and also promoting it. Build up an audience around a nice you are passionate about and bring them content that is valuable for them and also has something to do with your brand. Put out different types of passive income and if you stay dedicated you will one day be able to live from your passive income and if not it can still be a fun extra at the end of the month.
