I bought and sold domains in 2005. My wife told me I was crazy, and for the most part she was right. I spent $2,500 on a bunch of domains. As the years went by, I held on to the one's I really liked and let the rest expire. Fast forward a bunch of years, I sold two in 2015. One for $20k and the other for $75k.
