Any Silver is good. My preference is for Government issued coins , the one ounce versions, because here in my Country, there is no Capital gains Tax when they are sold. The Perth Mint are my favourite coins, they have series like the Lunars, and Kookaburra, all limited mintage so they gain value over time. Note, the Cap gains tax free is on coins only ( government issued with a face value), not silver rounds ( without face value ), and also not silver bars. The coins also have to be purchased for under $500 each, which counts out the Kilo coins, and also counts out coin sets. For Aussies reading this, see your accountant for tax advice before acting on it , as the rules are complex.

wow that's awesome! which country are you from. I have to pay capital gains tax.....

From Australia. The trend in the US is for the individual states to declare that Gold and Silver are money and therefore no tax. Quite a few states are doing this now. By the way, i love Vegas. When i was there a long time ago, i had a great time.

Ya i been out here in Vegas for a few years now and i love all the restaurant choices and all the business out here. The best part is that Vegas flies direct to almost everywhere.

Nevada is a big gold mining state too, maybe they will declare gold and silver as money too, like some other states in the US, then you will love it more !

I would love if they do that, we need to get back to real money and get away from credit, and currency

Yes, we are agreed on that. People generally don't know the difference between Money and Currency huh.

Your post is very good and useful for many people hopefully I can be like you, thanks for sharing your posting meaningful.semoga for the future I will be able to. support me thank yiu

ya thanks alot, what silver do u like?

thank you

I buy mostly junk silver but I buy eagles and maples when I find them locally.

nice, I wish there was a dealer near me, I have to buy online and spend a lot on shipping.

There is a small coin shop nearby and occasionally I check the pawnshops. Last time I found some barber halves just above spot price.

wow thats awesome, i been to a pawn shop and they were selling silver under spot market value, so those places are a good place to get silver at times.

Nice designs... Nice selection from Provident...
