Another day, another new cryptocurrency project. This one, however - this one is cool.
Most of us living in bigger cities know the feeling of trash and litter just laying on the street, occasional ice-cream wrapper, an old McDonalds cup or an abandoned car tyre under in the park.
Or perhaps you just visited the local forest and it didn't look anything like last time, because someone has made it their personal dumping site:
Enter Emrals. The name comes from a wordplay from Emrald City, the city from "The Wizard of Oz", the echelon of clean.
With Emrals, if you see some trash laying around, you mark it with a GPS location and you earn 1 Emrals token.
Clean that shit up? You earn 10 tokens. You don't have to clean it up, hopefully someone who has room in his trunk for that trash, picks it up and takes it to the nearest trashcan.
Sponsors, who like to see their hometown clean, can sponsor specific wallet addresses, addresses that are appointed to specific locations.
And you know what, the tokens are not totally worthless, like you might expect from a little known blockchain project like this. At the moment, as long as there aren't additional use cases associated with the toekn, you can exchange the Emrals tokens for BTC on some exchanges already.
Volume is a bit on the low side, but lets change that, shall we?
Head directly to their website emrals.com or scout Google Play for the mobile app.
