The production for corn and soybeans in the U.S. was down slightly in 2019. USDA Forecasts U.S. Corn and Soybean Production Down from 2018
In my opinion while a lot of crop land was taken out of production due to flooding, the rain actually helped some fields produce more.
As shown in the report, the wheat harvest for 2019 actually increased.

For me the jury is out on the sell of SteemIt to TRON. Having more resources for improving the SteemIt interface is good, but the roadmap for the SteemIt interface remains to be seen. I am still getting use to Communities. And now I am seeing a redundancy in the communities, for example I saw there are two "physics" communities. When you have overlapping communities it becomes confusing as to which community to post in.

Yes, there will be some turbulence ahead. It is yet to be seen how the supply chain effects from the coronavirus will ripple through the global economy.

Strange isn't , at the time the projection was for much higher food prices and shortages.
