The Blockchain is a technology on which bitcoin, ethereum and all other cryptocurrencies are built on. This is a decentralised system, which is different to currently existing centralised systems like Google, Yahoo and Facebook. In the centralised system, all the data will be stored in companies databases whereas in blockchain all the information will be available publicly in immutable blocks of a chain(of course securly).
